Educator preparation programs may submit nominations for future teachers completing their programs during the 2025-2026 academic year. Candidates are evaluated by their preparation programs based on specific professional performance criteria aligned with national standards. These underscore the foundational knowledge, skills, and dispositions of novice teachers.

Nominations are accepted through May 31, 2026. Awards will be announced by the end of June 2026. An award processing fee applies.
